SMALL NOTES

A home for every little thing.

Desk Reset is an original browser game about sorting a small, messy desk. There is no download or account. Pick a 60-second challenge, or take as long as you like in practice.

Start with one item

Drag an item across the 3D desk. Its matching destination lights up when you pick it up. Release near the right spot and it snaps neatly into place. Books go in the bookshelf; papers in the tray; pens in the pen cup; mugs on the coaster; cables in the cable box; crumpled paper in the waste bin to the left of the desk.

If an item lands in the wrong place, it returns without adding points. The message below the desk tells you where it belongs. Rotate a held item with the R key if you like; rotation is for the satisfying placement, not a separate scoring requirement.

On a phone, or with a keyboard

Use your finger to drag, or open Tap controls beneath the desk. First choose an item button, then its destination. Tab moves between buttons and Enter selects them. Tap controls work with the same layout and scoring as dragging.

Choose Low graphics for a lighter 3D view. If the objects feel too small, switch to the 2D desk in the tap controls. Devices without usable 3D support get this simpler version automatically. Sound starts off and can be enabled in the game.

Points, combos and a little time to spare

A correct placement starts at 100 points. Keep placing items within three seconds to build a combo. Placements 1–3 in a combo earn 100 each, 4–6 earn 200 each, and 7 onward earn 300 each. A missed placement breaks the combo.

Finish the whole desk before 60 seconds and the remaining seconds shown on the timer add 10 bonus points each. If time ends first, your placements still count. In untimed practice there is no time bonus, and the score does not change your personal best or unlock completed desks.

Personal bests belong to this browser, with a separate best for each layout. Complete three different desks in timed mode to unlock plant colors. There is no global leaderboard, prize or cash value.

One daily desk, wherever you play

The daily desk changes at midnight in Korea (UTC+9), giving everyone the same layout for that date. Choose desk also opens twelve fixed stages, all available from the beginning. Each stage has 12, 16, 20 or 24 items in one of three color themes.

A shared challenge includes its layout and target score. It still opens the same way after the daily desk changes. Switching between 한국어 and English keeps the challenge. A practice link invites someone to the layout without treating an untimed score as a timed target.

Pass on a satisfying little challenge

After playing, choose Send this desk to a friend to open your device's sharing options. Social & images includes Facebook, WhatsApp, X and KakaoTalk, plus a link you can copy anywhere.

For Instagram, save a 9:16 story image or a 4:5 feed image. Upload it in the Instagram app. Add a link sticker to a story using your copied challenge URL; you can copy a caption too. Opening a share window does not publish a post for you.
